A Virtual Canadian Wine Tasting

I've always thought virtual wine tastings had a bit of a reputation problem. Too many feel like webinars with wine, or lectures disguised as "fun."
This is a relaxed evening of drinking really good Canadian wine together from wherever you happen to be. We'll taste through a curated lineup from Battersea Wines, chat about what we're drinking, answer every question you've ever wanted to ask about wine (including the ones you think are "stupid": they're not), and hopefully convince a few more people that Canadian wine deserves a permanent spot in their glass.
Why Battersea?
If you've never heard of Battersea Wines, you're exactly who this tasting is for.
They're one of those producers quietly making exceptional wine without making a lot of noise about it.
The fruit comes from some of Niagara's best vineyards, and the wines are made by some of the region's most talented winemakers. The result is thoughtful, beautifully balanced wine that punches well above its price point.
These are the kinds of bottles I love introducing people to—the ones that make you stop halfway through your first sip and say, "Wait...this is Canadian?"
What to Expect
A pack of 3 bottles arrive at your door.

For the next couple of hours, we'll taste through the lineup together, talk about why these wines taste the way they do, tell a few stories, answer questions, and generally have a much better time than anyone expects from a virtual event.
You'll leave knowing a little more about Canadian wine, feeling a lot more confident buying it, and with at least one new favourite bottle.

Why I'm Doing This
One of my favourite parts of hosting tastings is watching people realize Canadian wine is so much better than they expected.
The downside?
Not everyone can make it to my dining room in Toronto.
So I'm bringing the tasting to yours.
If this goes well, I'd love to make these virtual tastings a regular thing—different wineries, different regions, different themes, same relaxed energy.
