I'm Laura Batten, certified sommelier, wine writer, and founder of Crushable Wine Club. For over a decade, I've explored Canada's wine regions, interviewed winemakers, judged wine competitions, and helped thousands of people discover wines actually worth drinking.
This intimate Canadian wine tasting experience takes place in my private residence in Toronto, where guests gather around the table for an evening of exceptional Canadian wines, honest conversation, and the stories behind the bottles.
You'll taste a curated lineup of wines from regions including Niagara, Prince Edward County, the Okanagan Valley, Nova Scotia, and beyond. Along the way we'll discuss what makes Canadian wine unique, how to taste with confidence, and why some bottles deserve your attention while others are mostly marketing.
No wine jargon. No snobbery. No pretending.
Just great wine and great conversation.
You may also be greeted by Dottie, the resident dog and unofficial host of the evening. While I handle the wine, Dottie specializes in making guests feel at home.

$175 per guest
Max 8 guests. 7pm start time, runs roughly 2-3 hours
A guided tasting featuring 5 carefully selected Canadian wines, wine education, and a deep dive into Canada's most exciting wine regions paired with local cheese and charcuterie. (no charge for dog cuddles)
Private Group Experiences
Starting at $1,500
